Flips & Freerunning
Open Gender - Saturday 21st March 3:30~4:30pm
Women & Minorities - Sunday 21st March 4:30~5:30pm

Our professional guest athlete Sydney Olson will be flying in from Los Angeles to teach Flips & Freerunning workshops. Sydney has very generously agreed to teach two workshops, one limited to women and minorities and another open to all!

These sessions will involve introduction into basic flips as well as all the progressions to safely execute them. This course is designed to help improve your technique whether it’s your first time or you’ve been practising them for years. If you already have the basics down, more advanced flips will also be taught based on ability. Any skill level is free to join.

These workshops are limited to 15 spaces each and will likely be very competitive for spaces so make sure you sign up when registrations open at 7am on 20th Feb (AEDT) so you don't miss out. As we have been fundraising to cover the costs of flying in an athlete, these workshops aren't free. However, we do want to cater to everyone so the price is a donation at an amount of your choice. After your registration is confirmed, the donation will be settled either as an online payment or cash payment on the day.

Sydney Olson is a professional parkour and freerunning athlete, as well as a Hollywood stunts woman. She has been training parkour and freerunning for 10 years.

Sydney first came across parkour for the first time when she was 17 years old, while coaching gymnastics. Finding it very unique she decided to give it a try. Sydney fell in love with the movement and about four years into her training, decided to pursue it professionally.

Sydney put her heart and soul into her training and improved a tonne, progressing on to travel the world doing to continue doing what she loves
